This page is my progress report on my data center investigation in Aurora Colorado. I am constantly finding new information and facts. The evidence is pretty clear that Aurora officials do not want the residents to know about data centers. They are delaying my public records request and/or not giving me all the information I asked for. I have to ask twice to get all the information. Keep checking the website page and my social media channels for more updated information.

New information about data centers in Aurora Colorado. Ward 2 meeting video recording is now uploaded on my YouTube and Odysee Channel. According to a sentinel article it was stated in a public meeting that a city committee was talking about approving an 11 million dollar tax incentive for the QTS Data Center. I did a public records request for any contracts and / or tax incentives for the QTS Data Center and 365 Data Center. I got a message from Scott Williams the Tax & Licensing Supervisor the same business day after submitting records request that

" No tax incentive or similar contract was found for the address of 1160 N Gun Club Rd."
Well I specifically addressed the QTS Data Center not the surrounding area. In the same public records request I asked for tax incentives for 365 data center. The records investigation is still open! Which means that their is most likely that their is a tax incentive for the 365 data center. Stay Tuned !
Update: April 14 2026
The shit just got real !!! I got a lot of public records and it is confirmed that their is at least 7 big data centers. Around 3 of them are still being built. I learned a lot about the myth of the water saving closed loop system used for cooling. A myth that it saves water. Amy Wiles Ward 2 City Councilor gave Misinformation at the ward 2 meeting stating that the closed loop system saves water. It also pollutes wastewater with coolant chemicals. I just found one of the best educational videos & content on the internet from a the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. By far a great source. If you do not have time to watch the whole video at least watch the 2 min short video.
I uploaded the documents I received on April 14 2026 on the Internet Archive.
It is an .EXE file so you have to un-zip it in order to view the documents.

I attended the Mayor Mikes Town Hall at the Central Library at 2:00pm. The water department gave a presentation over 1 hour talking about the drought, surcharges, etc. Shonnie Cline Deputy Director of Internal and External Affairs Aurora Water. I confronted her, video recorded and found out that their is 9 data centers and ALL of them are using potable water. The water department representative stated she would go over the meter readings to confirm consumption of the flexenial data center near peoria & 225.

Update April 20, 2026
I received an email from Shonnie Cline Deputy Director of Internal and External Affairs Aurora Water | City of Aurora giving me the Large Water Users Guide that she spoke about in the video I posted online. Link to the document below. She also sent me an email (link below) some of what she said was just stating alleged accomplishments that the water department has done. Yet the city of Aurora is in a severe drought.

Update April 24 2026
I emailed Ward 2 city councilor Amy Wiles on questions asking where are the active data centers located. The other question I asked was if the data centers were using potable water. Amy then she sent the message to Jeannine Rustad, Director of Planning and Business Development. Brandon Cammarata, Manager, Current Planning Division sent me a map of the 9 active data centers. On the document it does not show the exact location or address of the data centers! Why will they not give me the exact address of the active data centers. The QTS data center is so big and built in an undeveloped area that it is not difficult to see. I emailed Brandon Cammarata, Manager on April 27, 2026 requesting the exact addresses of the data centers to be on the document.

Update May 1, 2026
I found an OPINION article on the City of Aurora website written by Mayor Mike Coffman published February 17, 2026. It was also op-ed published in the Denver Post February 10, 2026. An op-ed is a short opinion article, published in newspapers, magazines, or online platforms that expresses the perspective of an outside contributor rather than the publication's editorial board.
Is the mayor of aurora writing a good review about the city water department & how he is doing a good job? Currently the city of Aurora is in a stage 1 drought. Is this similar to a business writing a good review about his business online? Is the Mayor Mike Coffman ethical for writing this opinion in the newspaper? What connections does the Denver Post have with Mayor Mike Coffman? Could the Denver Post possibly be helping only showing positive views and suppressing negative views about the city of Aurora? When the city has press conferences does the city invite all journalist or only selective journalist from corporate owned news that give a positive narrative about the city?

Some of the data centers are built in Colorado state tax incentive locations. The name is specifically called "Enterprise Zone" That means that the data centers in the "Enterprise Zone" pay less in taxes. Colorado Office of Economic Development & International Trade (OEDIT) The T-Mobile Data Center is located in the Enterprise Zone at 18400 E 22nd Ave, Aurora, CO 80011. Near Tower RD and Smith Rd. Link below to the state website. Click on the blue bar that has the words in it "Interactive Enterprise Zone Map".

I got the dates in which the data centers began operating by start date of water use from the aurora water department. See the picture above and link below. Aurora Request 26-1143

I found out through Google Earth Historical Satellite Images that the 365 Data Center Building & some of its cooling system has been built Since 2002. Before the Walmart and Fire Station number 12 was built. Before most of Green Valley Ranch was developed! I was given the list above of when data centers became active in Aurora. The water department informed me that the 365 Data Center Became active on 11/28/2022. Historical Satellite imagery is very useful tool.
The location of the Amazon data center is not correct. Water department gave the address 19551 E Steamboat Parkway. I found the location from the general map locations that was provided from the Aurora's water department. See link below for my and Amy Wiles (council member) request #0002633. The circle on the map with "AMZ" is placed near the north east side of the landing strip on the Buckley Space Force Base (military base). When i put the address provided in google maps it takes me to the intersection of Aspen st & E Steamboat Ave which is near a baseball field, Satellite's and empty lots on the North West Side of the landing strip. Having spent hours looking at satellite images of the other data centers in Aurora I found the exact location of the amazon data center on the North East side of the landing strip. Using historical imagery the structure was built just before the active date that was given by the water department. I can clearly see the generators from the satellite images.
Why would Amazon build a Data Center on a military base? Why did the water department give me the incorrect address? Why did the water department put the general location of the data center on the crappy map it provided to me. See link below to the map that was provided to me and Amy Wiles.

I found an interview Next 9 News did with Shonnie Cline from the Aurora water department. Shonnie Clined stated "We do have some data centers that have recently come into our service territory. And the reason why they're able to come in is that they're not using evaporative cooling." Shonnie Cline did not state which data centers have evaporative cooling. I know for a fact that the 365 data center & Flexential Data Center uses evaporative cooling. Next 9 News stated that Denver has 15 active data centers. But did not state how many data centers are active in Aurora Colorado. Link Below
