Summary: Unsafe parking garage structures were reported as long ago as in the year 2009 to City of Aurora CO code enforcement but still are not repaired. But two of the parking structures did not begin repair until late 2005 and early 2006. Still at least two serious crumbling parking structures are still in use and city officials will not condemn and prevent use. A lot of stairs at multiple building have rusted steel beams with missing and crumbling steel. Stairs made of Concrete are crumbling and unsafe. Code enforcement David Engram did not enforce and give violations to Ridge Hill Apartment Complex. David Ingram used to work as an in house home inspector for Lenar Homes. The Lenar Homes company has been sued multiple times and had multiple complaints of quality issue's from home buyers. Most of the video evidence is uploaded to my social media platforms. Odysee is the most up to date with video evidence. Profile link on home page.
End of Summary
I met a person at a tenants rights meeting and they told me about their slum lord apartment complex. Then I started video recording all the unsafe garage structures and 3 story stair structures. The crumbling concrete garage structure had cracks and exposed inner rebar. I am not a structural engineer but I am a structural steel welder D1.1 and I also have common sense. Which code enforcement and the city of Aurora does not have common sense. I found out through a public records request that parking structures A and B were reported as far back as the year 2009. Parking structure A only began repairs in early 2026. When inspecting parking structure A and video recording it appeared that repairs were far from complete and not adequate. Wood was being used to wedge concrete beams sideways and large spots of missing concrete on the sides of beams were letting outside sunlight in. Foam was sprayed over wood that was wedging concrete beams laying on the walls to support rooftop. It appears they are covering gaps with wood and foam.
I found out parking parking structure C was repaired in late 2005. Parking structures E and B are not repaired and have a lot of safety issues. Fire extinguishers were missing or outdated. Some of the fire extinguishers were so old that they were rusted, cracked and crumbling. Stairs were unsafe with concrete stairs crumbling and gates rusted so bad that steel was disintegrated. A traffic cone was used to prevent tenants from using the stairs. One stairs had the gate welded shut inside the garage but was still accessible from the top of the garage. A lot of Temporary jacks were supporting the beams laying horizontally. In parking garage B some beams that were crumbling and had rebar exposed did not have steel support jacks.
