Shamrock Foods Stores Hazardous Ammonia on Roof Top Are Nearby Residents Educated of Risks & Alerts? Aurora Colorado USA

Hazardous Ammonia is stored on the roof top of the warehouse and used for industrial refrigeration. The employees do safety drills in case of a leak. It is safer to be in the building rather than outside. Their is a neighborhood directly across the street of the facility. The nearby residents do not know that a potential leak could possibly injure or kill them. Shamrock Foods does not educate its neighbors about the potential dangers of a leak. Will Shamrock alert the neighborhood if a leak occurs.

Will health insurance cover medical costs? Will death insurance cover funeral costs? Will home owners insurance cover property damage? Does the federal, state or city government regulate these types of facilities near residential neighborhoods? Did the home developer disclose the possible dangers to the home-buyers before they bought the property?
Note: The homes on the north side of the building directly across the street were built after the facility was operational. The neighborhood to the west was built before shamrock foods. The shamrock foods warehouse became operational in the late year of 2022.
